Mike Hurst’s practice is concentrated in the area of intellectual property law. He has extensive experience in trademark prosecution, protection and portfolio management, copyright matters, domain names, brand management counseling, as well as intellectual property licensing, both in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to joining Keating Muething & Klekamp, Mr. Hurst served as Corporate Counsel-IP at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois.

Courtney Laginess practices law in the firm's Intellectual Property group. He has experience in all phases of trademark prosecution and also practices in the area of copyright, domain names, advertising, licensing, and intellectual property due diligence in corporate transactions. In addition to his work in the intellectual property group, Mr. Laginess has experience in commercial contract review and business formation issues. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
